【摘要】:HeatGaintoSpace8212;Thistestmethoddeterminestheheatgaintothespacefromahood/appliancesystem.Note28212;Tomaintainaconstanttemperatureintheconditionedspace,thisheatgainmustbematchedbyspacecooling.Thespacesensiblecoolingload,intons,thenequalstheheatgaininBtu/hdividedbytheconversionfactorof12000Btu/h(3.412W)pertonofcooling.Applianceheatgaindatacanbeusedforsizingairconditioningsystems.DetailsofloadcalculationprocedurescanbefoundinASHRAE,seeRef(1)andRef(2).Thecalculationofassociatedcoolingloadsfromheatgainstothetestspaceatvariousflowratescanbeusedalongwithotherinformationbyheating,ventilation,airconditioning(HVAC),andexhaustsystemdesignerstoachieveenergy-conservative,integratedkitchenventilationsystemdesigns.ParametricStudies:Thistestmethodalsocanbeusedtoconductparametricstudiesofalternativeconfigurationsofhoods,appliances,andreplacementairsystems.Ingeneral,thesestudiesareconductedbyholdingconstantallconfigurationandoperationalvariablesexceptthevariableofinterest.Thistestmethod,therefore,canbeusedtoevaluatethefollowing:Theoverallsystemperformancewithvariousappliances,whileholdingthehoodandreplacementairsystemcharacteristicsconstant.Entirehoodsorcharacteristicsofasinglehood,suchasendpanels,canbevariedwithappliancesandreplacementairconstant.Replacementaircharacteristics,suchasmakeupairlocation,direction,andvolume,canbevariedwithconstantapplianceandhoodvariables.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofapplianceheatgaintospacederivedfromthemeasurementandcalculationofapplianceenergyconsumption,energyexhausted,andenergytofood,basedonasystemenergybalance,parametricevaluationofoperationalordesignvariationsinappliances,hoods,orreplacementairconfigurations.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
