【摘要】:ISO8063specifiesthecharacteristicsofatapecartridgeusing6,30mm(0.25in)widemagnetictapefordatainterchangebe-tweendataprocessingsystems.ISO8063/1specifiesthedimensional,physicalandmagneticcharacteristicsofthecartridge,andthetracklayout.ThispartofISO8063specifiesthequalityoftherecordedsignals,andthetrackformattobeusedona6,30mm(0.25in)magnetictapecartridge,recordedat252ftpmm(6400ftpi)usingIMFMrecordingandthestart/stopmodeofoperation.TogetherwiththelabellingschemespecifiedinISO4341,ISO8063/1andISO8063/2provideforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.NOTE—NumericvaluesintheSIand/orImperialmeasurementsysteminthispartofISO8063mayhavebeenroundedoffandthereforeareconsistentwith,butnotexactlyequalto,eachother.Eithersystemmaybeused,butthetwoshouldbeneitherintermixednorreconverted.TheoriginaldesignwasmadeusingtheImperialmeasurementsystem.ISO8063appliestocartridgesusedfordatainterchange.Whereitappliesfortestingonly,thisisspecificallystated.
