【摘要】:ThisStandardestablishesperformancecriteriaforwhirlpoolandair-jettedbathtubappliancesandsuctionfittingsusedinwhirlpoolbathtubappliances.Itisintendedforuseby,butnotlimitedto:manufacturers,distributors,retailers,architects,engineers,plumbingcontractors,jetters,installers,regulatoryagencies,andusers.ThisStandardshallgoverntheconstruction,generalrequirements,testmethods,andmarkingforwhirlpoolandair-jettedbathtubappliancesthatincorporateabathtub,acirculationpump,andapipingsystem,withorwithouttheintroductionofair,eitherbyintegralsuctionorairpump.Optionalaccessoriesforsuchappliancesshallbepermittedtobeprovidedinthefactoryorfield,providedthatsuchaccesoriesdonotnegatetheperformanceofwhirlpoolhydromassagebathtubappliancesdesignedtocomplywiththisStandard.SuctionfittingsthatareusedwithinwhirlpoolbathtubappliancesshallbeevaluatedtothisStandard.TheprovisionsofthisStandardshallenableidentificationofspecificunitsthatareincompliancewiththisdocument.TheprovisionsofthisStandardshallnotbeconstruedtopreventtheuseofanyalternatematerialormethodofconstruction,providedanysuchalternatemeetstheintentofthisStandard.
