【摘要】:1.1Thisterminologycontainscommonterms,definitionsofterms,descriptionsofterms,nomenclature,andacronymsassociatedwiththree-dimensional(3D)imagingsystemsinanefforttostandardizeterminologyusedfor3Dimagingsystems.1.2Thedefinitionsofthetermspresentedin3.1areobtainedfromvariousstandarddocumentsdevelopedbyvariousstandardsdevelopmentorganizations.Theintentisnottochangetheseuniversallyaccepteddefinitionsbuttogather,inasingledocument,termsandtheirdefinitionsthatmaybeusedincurrentorfuturestandardsfor3Dimagingsystems.1.2.1Insomecases,definitionsofthesametermfromtwostandardshavebeenpresentedtoprovideadditionalreference.Thetextinparenthesestotherightofeachdefinedtermisthename(and,insomecases,thespecificsection)ofthesourceofthedefinitionassociatedwiththatterm.1.3Thedefinitionsin3.2arespecifictermsdevelopedbythiscommitteefor3Dimagingsystems.Sometermsmayhavegenerallyaccepteddefinitionsinaparticularcommunityoraredefinedinexistingstandards.Ifthereareconflictingdefinitions,ourpreferenceistoadapt(modify)theISOstandard(ifavailable)forthisstandard.1.4Adefinitioninthisterminologyisastatementofthemeaningofawordorwordgroupexpressedinasinglesentencewithadditionalinformationincludedinnotesordiscussions.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;Thesubcommitteeresponsibleforthisstandardwillreviewdefinitionsonafive-yearbasistodetermineifthedefinitionisstillappropriateasstated.Revisionswillbemadewhendeterminednecessary.

【摘要】:Thepurposeofthisterminologyistoprovideuniformcontractionsoftermsrelatingtoplastics.Abbreviatedterminologyhasevolvedthroughwidespreadcommonusage.Thiscompilationhasbeenpreparedtoavoidboththeoccurrenceofmorethanoneabbreviatedtermforagivenplasticstermandmultiplemeaningsforabbreviatedterms.Thescopeoftheseabbreviatedtermsincludesplasticstermspertainingtocompositionandrelatingtotypeorkindaccordingtomodeofpreparationorprincipledistinguishingcharacteristics.Alsoincludedareabbreviatedtermsfortermsrelatingtocopolymers,blendsandalloysofplastics,andadditivessuchasplasticizers,fillers,etc.Note1-AcoderelatingtothecompositionofrubbersisgiveninPracticeD1418.Noattemptismadeheretosystematizeformallyashorthandterminologyforpolymers.Terminology,includingnomenclature,codes,symbols,andformuladesignationsforuseinscientificliteratureinthefieldofnaturalandsyntheticpolymers,arebeingstudiedandstandardizedbytheInternationalUnionofPureandAppliedChemistry.Theseabbreviatedtermsarebynomeansall-inclusiveofplasticsterminology.Theyrepresent,ingeneral,thosetermsthathavecomeintoestablisheduse.Sinceitisrecognizedthatabbreviatedtermsservenousefulpurposeunlesstheyaregenerallyacceptedandused,noattempthasbeenmadetoestablisharigorouscodefordevisingstandardabbreviatedterms.Thiswouldresultinawkwarddeparturesfromestablishedusageofexistingandacceptedabbreviatedtermsandleadtocumbersomecombinationsinthefuture,whichwouldnotbelikelytoreceivewidespreadacceptance.Theabbreviatedtermsnowinusehavegrownnaturallyoutoftheneedforconvenient,readilycomprehendedshorthandforlongchemicalnames.Thisprocesscanbeexpectedtocontinuealongthenaturallinesofleastresistanceandwillserveasabasisforfurtherstandardizationastheneedarises.Ageneralguideforthepreparationofabbreviatedtermsappearsdesirable,however,tofacilitatemoreorganizedanduniformstandardizationinthefuture.Anappendixisattached,whichsuggestsauniformwaytoprepareabbreviatedterms.NotethattheuppercaseletterFshouldbeusedtodesignatephosphateandthatotherelementsmayalsobedesignatedF.
