【摘要】:Thispracticeisissuedtoprovideinformationusefulinestablishingsamplingandhandlingprocedures.ItisexpectedthatthisinformationwillonlybeutilizedinconjunctionwithanexistinghealthandsafetyprogramandconsultationwithanappropriateMSDS.TheinformationprovidedhereincannotbeusedasasubstituteforexpertsafetyandmedicaladviceasprovidedinappropriateMSDS,butratherasasupplementtosuchadvice.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforsamplingandhandlingseveralliquidcyclicproducts.Thesespecificallycoverliquidsatambienttemperatureandincludebenzene,toluene,xylenes,cyclohexane,styrene,pyridine,ethylbenzene,isopropylbenzene,andalpha-methylstyrene.1.2Anypersonsamplingandhandlingtheseproductsshouldhavespecificfirstaidinstructionsandequipmentavailableforuseintheeventofpersonalcontactorexposure.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSections5,6and7.
