【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricblankets,padsandotherflexibleappliancesthatheatthebedorhumanbody,forhouseholdandsimilarpurposes,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250V.Thisstandardalsoappliestocontrolunitssuppliedwiththeappliance.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyappliancesthatareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount–theuseofappliancesbyyoungchildrenorinfirmpersonswithoutsupervision;–playingwiththeappliancebyyoungchildren.NOTE101Childrenareconsideredtobeoldenoughtouseanappliancewithoutsupervisionwhentheyhavebeenadequatelyinstructedbyaparentorguardianandaredeemedcompetenttousetheappliancesafely.NOTE102Attentionisdrawntothefactthat–forappliancesintendedtobeusedinvehiclesoronboardshipsoraircraft,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary;–inmanycountries,additionalrequirementsarespecifiedbythenationalhealthauthorities,thenationalauthoritiesresponsiblefortheprotectionoflabourandsimilarauthorities.NOTE103Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto–appliancesintendedtobeusedinlocationswherespecialconditionsprevail,suchasthepresenceofacorrosiveorexplosiveatmosphere(dust,vapourorgas);–rigidbedwarmers,suchasthoseofmetalorceramicmaterial;–waterbedheaters(IEC60335-2-66);–heatingappliancesforbreedingandrearinganimals(IEC60335-2-71);–footwarmersandheatingmats(IEC60335-2-81);–appliancesspecificallyintendedforuseundermedicalsupervision(IEC60601-2-35).
